Rolf's Dinner

To celebrate getting tenure (next Sept.) Rolf treated his lab members to a fancy dinner at the Nana Grill on the 27th floor of the Anatole Hotel. We were in a private room with our own servers. It provided a great opportunity for Rolf to show his appreciation of the people in his group and they gave him a generous gift card to REI (his favorite), a nice bottle of whiskey, and expressed their appreciation of him too. It was lots of fun and a special treat.


There were 14 of us.

The menu was even personalized and was for "Rolf Brekken's Dinner". It was a 4 course meal with several choices for each course. Fancy smancy!

At the end of the night they asked Rolf to autograph the menus for them. He's got some high expectations to fill for that Nobel Prize!
