Birthdays

We celebrated Gramee's birthday on Dec. 22nd with a lobster dinner (kids loved watching the lobster die in the pot) and an ice cream cake.


Since we were still recovering from our second Christmas celebration on the 28th, we celebrated Cade's 2nd birthday a day late on the 30th with some cupcakes. Cade still kept singing "Happy Birthday Gramee".


The cupcakes were supposed to be blue but I failed to recognize that the cake mix was already yellow. I really meant it to be a color mixing lesson for Drew!


The boys had been playing dress-up before we had the cupcakes. Here you can see their full outfits.

Earlier in the day we went to see the trains at Northpark mall to celebrate Cade's birthday. Here he is with Gramee overwhelmed by all the trains.
