Busy Month - 1st stop State Fair of TX

Gramee came in town to celebrate Drew's birthday.

First we went to the opening day of the Texas State Fair.

You can't see Drew but this was his first roller coaster ride and he had a great time, especially with Dad there.

We even got Gramee and Cade on a ride!

Cade had fun checking out the tractors.

Both boys had fun visiting the Children's Barn at the Fair. Drew liked feeding all the animals.

The most important part of the fair is to say HI to Big Tex and...

Of course the funnel cake. We've had to graduate to buying two or Rolf and I wouldn't get any.

We used the last of our tickets for Drew's last ride of the night. There is nothing like the sights, sounds, and smells of the Fair.
