9 month check-up

We took Drew in for his 9 month check-up this afternoon. Everything looked good. He's 28.25 inches tall (45%), weighs 19 lbs 12 oz (40%), and still has a fat head at 46.4 cm (80%). In terms of motor skills he's doing great crawling and pulling-up on everything. The Dr. emphasized a focus on safety now since Drew puts everything in his mouth and tries to pull every table and light down on his head. She also mentioned using the word "NO" selectively. Since you have to be consistant, you should only use "NO" for battles that you really need to win. I think we'll stick with "No biting" and "No stealing Dagan's dog food" rather than no banging, throwing, or screaming. We're working on getting some more solid food into him and have dropped down to 4 bottles a day. After another month or so we'll try to get him down to 3 a day. By then he'll be ready for steak and potatoes! Drew is still as smilely as ever and we love him more and more every day.
